This week’s planning applications submitted to Arun District Council

THE amount of affordable housing at a development in Barnham could be reduced, if plans submitted to Arun District Council are improved.

West Sussex County Council has submitted an application to modify a planning obligation dated August 4, 2010, to vary the percentage of affordable housing from 40 per cent to 30 per cent for the Angel’s Nursery development in Yapton Road.

Other planning applications submitted to Arun District Council this week include:

East Preston:

Demolish existing conservatory and erect two-storey side and rear extension and a traditional front porch.

Demolish existing garage and construct new carriage house and workshop to the front driveway at 91 North Lane.

Littlehampton: Reinstatement of bungalow following fire at 4 Fitzalan Road

Proposed horticulture unit at Waitrose in Avon Road.

Rustington:

Plans for ten internally illuminated flexface sign boxes, one set of eight poster frames, one set of nine poster frames and one set of seven poster frames (all non-illuminated), to all elevations of the building at Dunelm, New Road.

Application for listed building consent for the erection of a freestanding, single storey timber garden building at Mayfield Cottage, 47 Sea Lane.
