Scouts seek out leaders to work with town group

VOLUNTEERS are needed to help lead a Littlehampton Scout group.

The 4th Littlehampton Scout Group is appealing for volunteers to join up and become a Beaver, Cub, Scout or Venture leader.

Cooking, camping and mapwork skills are needed, as well as the ability to guide youngsters through the organisation and help with fundraisers.

Link to Hope, in Littlehampton and Rustington, is appealing for a new shop assistant to help at its fund-raising stores.

Ford-based Arun Co-ordinated Community Transport is seeking new trustees to join the charity, which offers a vital transportation service to disabled people across Arun.

Activity leaders and a café assistant are needed to support the Age UK West Sussex’s Tamarisk Centre, in Littlehampton.

The Beach Road facility is a vibrant place full of activities and social events for elderly people from across the area to enjoy.

The centre needs an arts and crafts leader, computer drop-in leader and a back-up bingo caller. Volunteers are also needed to support the kitchen and café staff, which could mean serving in the café, waitressing, or helping in the kitchen to prepare food and help keep the area clean.
