Remembering the fallen

MISSING names of people from the area who died during combat in the first and second world wars are to be added to the war memorial in Littlehampton.

Littlehampton Town Council is asking relatives of those who were born in Littlehampton and died in the line of duty during either of those wars to get in touch so their names can be added to the memorial.

To prove residency, the council requires a birth certificate to be provided on behalf of the relative.

For more information and to get a relative’s name added to the memorial, contact Carolyn Cudmore, personal assistant to the town mayor and town clerk, by phoning 01903 732063.

Alternatively, email the council on ltc@littlehampton-tc.gov.uk
