FORMER waste water treatment works could be converted into permanent pitches for travellers, if plans are approved.

The site in Littlehampton could be used for six permanent pitches for travellers and is among the planning applications submitted to Arun District Council this week.

Arundel:

Application for the approval of details reserved by condition three following a grant of planning

permission. All new doors and windows in the High Street.

Angmering:

Application for a certificate of lawful development for existing use: siting and occupation of a residential mobile home at Alleycats Nursery at Dappers Lane.

East Preston:

Single-storey front and side extension at Arlington Crescent.

Rustington:

Demolition of detached garage and erection of new two-storey chalet-style extension and roof extension at Cudlow Avenue.
