CHILDREN from Rustington’s Little Explorers Pre-School will be safer on trips and outings thanks to a special donation.

Staff from Specsavers Rustington, in The Street, visited the school on Thursday to donate 25 high-visibility vests to the children.

The pre-school operates at the Rustington Youth Centre and is open five mornings a week.

Rishi Patel, store director of Rustington’s Specsavers, hopes the new vests would help make youngsters more visible to motorists. He said: “We hope the children will be thrilled with their new vests and will hopefully get a lot of use out of them.”

The youngsters have been invited to have a tour of Specsavers’ new store when it opens in autumn.
