Making ‘healthy chocolate’ at Arundel wellbeing event

MAKING ‘healthy’ chocolate will be the goal of a workshop which launches a series of wellbeing sessions in Arundel.

Amber Thorne, from Littlehampton, will be leading the workshop on Monday at the Arundel Lido, in Queen Street.

Town mayor Michael Tu will cut a ribbon to start the session at 6.30pm.

It is the first in the Body, Mind and Soul series Amber is running with her Wellness Matters Academy.

Part two, in May, will explore the benefits of flower essences in giving emotional support.

Amber will be combining chocolate making with supporting the charity, United Response, which helps people with learning and physical disabilities and mental health needs.

Two members of her family have disabilities and she works in a similar field. She will be running a raffle in aid of United Response during the session.

Amber, who completed a four-year course in complimentary medicines and alternative therapies at the end of last year, said Monday’s session would help people discover a healthier relationship with food. For more information, see her Facebook business page.
