Littlehampton street gets into Christmas spirit with impressive lights display

The Christmas lights display at Highdown Drive, Littlehampton

IS this the most Christmassy street in the whole of Littlehampton?

Residents from 58 to 66 Highdown Drive have put forward a strong argument for the title with this seasonal display of lights.

The householders at Highdown Drive have once again been getting into the Christmas spirit by decking their houses in an array of different lights.

It is the eighth year in a row the five houses have been decorated, and each year the display has been getting ‘bigger and better’, residents say.

Though the lights and decorations may make the residents’ homes stand out from the rest of their neighbours, there is more to the display than mere spectacle.

The householders get out the decorations each year to raise money for a range of good causes, and each year they select a new charity to donate money to.

Over the years, the displays have raised thousands of pounds.

This year, the chosen

chosen charity is Cystic Fibrosis.

This charity was chosen due to a local family who have donated some lights to the display and who have been affected by the condition.

The Gazette is asking readers to send their photos and videos of Christmas lights decorations.
