STRIKING shots of stunning vistas and gorgeous landscapes have taken top prizes in an amateur photography competition.

Littlehampton and District Camera Club held its landscape print and projected digital image competition, with more than 70 images being entered for the event.

Steve Rogers scored a double success, with two of his photos taking first and third places in the print section.

His black and white composition, Woodland Daybreak, took the third place.

John Raymond, of the club, said: “Both images captured an inviting view of nature’s most beautiful moments.”

Raymond Teuchert took second place, with his peaceful shot of trees and fields, called Minimalist Scenery.

Norman Atkinson was the winner in the projected digital image class, with his stunning photo of a rainbow.

Mike Constable was the runner-up for his tranquil view of Baggy Point in Devon, showing rolling hills with sheep grazing in undulating fields.

John Raymond took third for his shot of the South Downs.
