AS the trees begin to shed their leaves, people are being encouraged to shed pounds at a healthy eating and lifestyle course in Yapton this autumn.
The free 12-week course will include a weekly interactive nutrition talk, followed by 30 minutes of gentle activity, showing easy ways of getting your heart rate up, which can also be done at home.
It is designed for people with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25-29, to help them bring their BMI – a measure of whether you are a healthy weight for your height – into the ideal 18.5 to 24.9 range.
