A SECURITY systems provider has donated £3,000 to the Fire Fighters Charity, which has a rehabilitation centre in Littlehampton.
Cirrus, which provides, telecare, fire and security services, is providing its support to the charity, which helps enhance the quality of life for serving and retired fire fighters and their families.
The support from Cirrus involves free-of-charge maintenance of fire systems at the charity’s rehabilitation centre in Fitzalan Road, Littlehampton.
To mark the start of the partnership, the company has donated £3,000 to the charity and staff have pledged to raise further funds throughout the coming year.
These fund-raising efforts were kicked off recently when two team members abseiled 560ft down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth and a colleague completed an Ironman 70.3 competition in Austria.
Patrick Crowe, corporate partnerships manager at the Fire Fighters Charity, added:
“Firefighters put their lives on the line for people like you and I every single day. The Fire Fighters Charity is here for all serving and retired members of the UK fire and rescue community – and their families – in their times of need. Support from individuals and corporate partners is vital in helping us carry out this work and having Cirrus’ expertise and brilliant fund-raising efforts on board is extremely valuable.”
