MAGICAL melodies will hopefully come as music to the ears of a vital life-saving charity in Sussex this week.
Choristers from the New Melodians Choir will be performing a fundraising concert for Sussex’s air ambulance service.
The group’s show will be held St Andrew’s Church, in Holmes Lane, Rustington, on May 16, from 7.30pm.
The choir has a wide repertoire of songs from 1940s swing to 1990s pop.
New Melodians’ spokeswoman Linda Vaughan said the group was keen to support the air ambulance service.
She explained that the work the services does was vitally important and that it was one of those ‘crucial’ charities which could be called out to save the life of anyone in the county.
She added that this year the choir has already helped to raise funds for Rustington WI, Worthing Stroke Club and Rustington Women’s Fellowship.
Tickets for this month’s concert are £4 per person.
