POLICE have launched a hunt for a man who attacked a teenage girl from Littlehampton in an alleyway in Angmering.

The 17-year-old girl was assaulted in an alleyway leading to Guildford Road, on Monday, May 18, between 10.30-11pm.

A police spokesman said: “She was walking home when a man attempted to rob her but fled when she resisted and kicked him. She received facial bruising in the incident but did not need hospital treatment.”

The suspect is described as white, aged in his late teens to early twenties, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, of skinny build and with short dark shaven hair. He was wearing a light blue hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.
