If only we had a high street in Southwick

A high street is a one stop shopping place where you can go to buy anything knowing that at least one shop will have it on the shelf.

It is a place ranging from the everyday low price stores at one end to stores where only the strongest credit card will survive at the other end and stores for all pockets in between.

The nearest example of a high street is two miles long and starts at Palmera Square in Hove and goes east to Old Steine intersecting with Churchill Square on the way

It then heads north into London Road intersecting with Brighton Open Market on the way to Preston Circus.

Two miles long, is not very long by high street standards.
