Jobs fair returns for aspiring apprentices

A jobs fair for budding apprentices is being held later this month, due to more than 250 vacancies on offer in West Sussex.

Now in its second year and organised by West Sussex County Council (WSCC), the fair is being held at Worthing Town Hall, in Stoke Abbott Road, Worthing, on October 20, from 2pm to 4pm and hopes ‘people will be inspired’.

Subjects on offer range from social care, hair and beauty, estate agency, web development, dog grooming and marketing.

Stephen Hillier, county council cabinet member for children – start of life, said: “More than 400 people have recently completed advanced and higher apprenticeships and I hope this number will continue to grow.”
