Town mayor Jill Long will be joined by the Arundel and Littlehampton Scout Band to open the event at 10am, and the fun continues until 4pm.
Among the attractions will be birds of prey displays by Owls About Town and Punch and Judy shows, both in Clifton Road, children’s funfair rides and Dillistones’ charity organ in the pedestrian precinct, and traditional treats including roast chestnuts and toffee apples.
Over in the grotto, Father Christmas will not only be giving each child a present, but also a packet of reindeer dust, to sprinkle in their garden, so that the reindeer passing overhead on Christmas night know where to visit. There is a charge of £2.50.
