FIRE UPDATE: A27 re-opened after Lancing fire

The A27 has been re-opened after a fire in Lancing this evening (Wednesday December 2).

Firefighters were called to a blaze at a derelict building in Old Shoreham Road at around 6.50pm.

Police said the A27 was closed near the fire due to smoke covering the dual carriageway.

The road was closed at around 7.30pm and was shut for half an hour. It has now been re-opened.
