DEVELOPERS want to build more homes on a site at Angmering which has already been given planning permission for 36 houses.
Barratt Homes has submitted revised plans for land at Pound Nursery, Roundstone Lane, increasing the total to 46 homes, with car parking, landscaping and open space, following the demolition of existing buildings and structures.
The company says this would make better use of the site and provide more two- and three-bedroom houses. “The mix better reflects the needs of the local area,” says a statement Barratt has submitted with the plans to Arun District Council.
The scheme would be part of the development of 600 homes proposed by Arun and developers in the council’s local plan, which will be assessed by a Government inspector later this year.
Other plans submitted to Arun in the Gazette area include:
ANGMERING: listed building consent application for a rear extension under flat roof, to enclose part of rear courtyard and removal of part of the existing rear wall leading into the extension, The Lamb Inn, The Square.
