It aims to teach children about the functions of Parliament.

Mr Gibb said: “During my visit to the school I took part in the whole-school assembly and talked about how the House of Commons works, what Members of Parliament do and how they are elected.

“We discussed ideas for laws that the children would like to see changed. One suggestion was that the Government should provide free McDonalds hamburgers!”
