According to police, it was found shortly after 3am in Goodwood Close, Rustington following a call from a member of the public who reported a vehicle fire.

PC Chris Finch said: “The keys to the car were kept inside the house and were also reported missing. We believe the property was broken into shortly before the Land Rover was taken.

“If you were in the area and saw anything suspicious, or perhaps saw a green Discovery being driven in the area, then please get in touch.”

Witnesses can email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting reference 234 of 26/02.

Alternatively you can report online (sussex.police.uk/contact-us/response-to-appeal/) or call 101.
