RECRUITMENT firm Team Jobs is putting its weight behind the Observer and Gazette Business Awards, by becoming a sponsor for the first time.
The business, which has an office in Chichester, was a start-up itself in 2002, but now employs nearly 50 people and has eight offices in the UK.
Keen to support local business, Brendon Cook, a senior recruitment consultant, said: “The awards are about supporting economic growth and regeneration in West Sussex and its start-up businesses that are the key to success.
“Team Jobs is very pleased to be sponsoring the Start-Up Business category.
“Launching a successful business requires determination, drive and commitment to the highest level. We believe entrepreneurs deserve recognition and acknowledgment for this tireless work ethic.
“At Team Jobs we know the important elements essential to maintaining a successful business and appreciate that the smallest details have huge impact on the results achieved.
“We pride ourselves on our customer service and the importance of understanding your client.
“This is especially important when you are starting out to ensure you deliver a high standard and build strong relationships with solid foundations for the years to come.
“We wish all entrants the best of luck.”
Businesses which were set up after February 1, 2013 can enter the Start-Up Business category, and should demonstrate the successes the firm has made in this short time in their nomination.
It doesn’t matter whether it’s a cafe, an IT firm or whether you’ve created a brand new product, give yourself the recognition you deserve by nominating your business for the Start-Up award.
