The construction of a new two storey head office for the expanding Fittleworth Medical Ltd has commenced on part of the Courtwick Lane estate on the A259 in Littlehampton.
The £4 million project, designed by PWP Architects in Havant, supported by WFBA civil engineering, will be completed by Fareham based main contractor Amiri Construction in June next year.
At the launch ceremony, Peter Hills, Managing Director of Fittleworth, said that the new facility will be appreciated by the team of 85 people who are currently based at the nearby Hawthorn Road offices.
“We are delighted to be able to keep our long association with Littlehampton having found a suitable site so close to our current base. This allows us to not only secure the employment of our local people but also continue our expansion plans.”
Fittleworth employs more than 300 staff in branches across the UK to operate a home delivery service for NHS prescription medical appliances.
