FOUR brave Littlehampton women who shaved their heads for charity have praised all those who backed their efforts.

Jessica Cliffton-Hummel, Kirsti Widdows, Sarah Hall and Anne-Marie Simpson all took the chop to raise cash for cancer charity Macmillan.

Although their event, held in the White Hart pub, in Surrey Street, was in September, the team is still receiving donation money – tipping their total to more than £1,000.

Jessica, 24, of Norfolk Gardens, Littlehampton, said: “We all wanted to raise £500 and can’t believe we got over £1,000. Thank you so much!”

Jessica had been inspired to raise the money in memory of her beloved father Neal, who lost his fight against cancer on June 21, aged just 61.
