The weather was kind as over 690 members of the Arundel and Littlehampton Scout district paraded through Arundel to the cathedral to hold their annual St George’s Day service on Sunday.

The parade was lead by the District Scout Band who also played the final tune.

This year, 1st Barnham Scouts had the task of organising the event for district members, invited mayors, chairmen and councillors together with past leaders and friends of the Scout District.

The service was conducted jointly between Bishop Richard Moth, Canon Tim Madeley of the Cathedral and Father Martin Powell from Barnham and Eastergate parish. James Rushman was the organist.

The TS Implacable Band played, too.
