DISABLED students in Angmering have baked up a delightful sum for charity.
Youngsters with Down’s syndrome raised more than £50 from a cake sale at The Angmering School.
The event was in aid of World Down’s Syndrome Day, which aims to raise awareness of the condition and to give those with Down’s syndrome a greater voice in society.
Sam Tonks, co-ordinator for Down’s syndrome at The Angmering School said: “The students really enjoyed making cakes and bringing them into school to sell to other students and teachers as it was World Down’s Syndrome Day.
“I am very proud of the students and of all their hard work.”
The event took place on March 21.
