Man rescued from River Arun in Littlehampton

A MAN was taken to hospital on Friday (January 29) after falling into the River Arun.
Fire crews were called to Pier Road, Littlehampton, just after 4pm, to help rescue to man who had slipped around 4ft from the wall onto the embankment.

Along with paramedics, they spent about 30 minutes helping the man from the water, before he was taken to Worthing Hospital, suffering from head injuries, by ambulance.
