COMMEMORATIVE coins and notes, some of which are not even legal tender, were taken during a burglary in Wick on Friday (January 29).
Thieves got into the Toddington Lane home between 2pm and 4.30pm, by forcing their way through rear patio doors.

An original 1st edition Queen Elizabeth era £50 note, a Victorian silver crown coin, five commemorative £5 coins, including one marked with a Concorde, and five old-style £2 coins, were taken.

Anyone with information should call PC Jason Berney of Littlehampton police on 0845 60 70 999 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

Burglary is entering a premises at night. You cannot have day time burglary, it is called "Breaking and Entering". How much more of your "news" is incorrect?

Burglary can happen during the day or at night.
Just to make sure I got the Sussex Police definition.

A person is guilty of burglary if they:

enter any building or part of a building as a trespasser with the intention to steal, inflict grievous bodily harm, rape or cause unlawful damage, or having entered any building or part of a building as a trespasser they steal, inflict or attempt to inflict grievous bodily harm.
