LIVE MUSIC: The Cavern Beatles
THE best tribute bands don't just look and sound like their famous counterparts, they capture the essence and spirit of the original.
Such is the case with The Cavern Beatles, who have researched their roles meticulously, from chord shapes to clothing, drum fills to hairstyles.
Worthing can enjoy the iconic band's greatest hits at the Pavilion Theatre on Saturday, May 23, with an appearance by The Cavern Beatles, 39 years to the day after The Beatles reached number one in the American Billboard charts with The Long and Winding Road.
They ensure The Beatles' image and music is represented as accurately as possible and their passion for the music is unmistakeable.
The first half focuses on the early years, when The Beatles embarked on their first major tours of the UK in 1963 and the term "Beatlemania" was quickly coined.
For the second half, there will be songs from the later period, after the group "invaded" America.
Tickets 14 and 15.50.
