Four of Europe's top stars will be battling it out at the Assembly Hall on Thursday (August 28), and there can be only one winner.

Up for grabs is the prestigious Worthing Trophy, the annual knockout tournament sponsored by Sussex Ford Breakers, and whatever happens one thing is guaranteed.

There will be a new name on the trophy because none of the previous winners of the event in its 15-year history has made it through to next week's show, which will feature both the semi-finals and final.

The big four will include controversial British heavyweight title-holder Martin Stone, who will be accompanied by his manager, "The Twisted Genius" Dean Ayass, Ireland's Celtic Warrior Eamonn O'Neill and the Sussex powerhouse, James Tighe, from Littlehampton.

They will be joined by the winner of tonight's bout between the European Inter-Continental heavyweight champion, Christian Eckstein, from Germany, and the Young Wrestler of the Year, Joel Redman.

If Eckstein is involved, he will bidding to become the first overseas winner of the trophy.

The loaded card will also include tag team action featuring the highly-charged pairing of Dan Head and Max Voltage.
