FORGET Glastonbury, forget Reading and Leeds, this year's festival of choice is Party in the Car Park.
Britain's Got Talent finalists Stavros Flatley, also known as Demetrios and Lagi Demetriou, will headline a show in Littlehampton's Manor House car park on August 8, to raise funds for next year's carnival.
The father and son duo shot to fame during the last series of the ITV show, with their comedy Riverdance-inspired Greek dancing.
Sponsored by Littlehampton Welding and Upfront Events, local acts Long Way to The Light and Mick Koumis will perform to the hoped-for 2,500-strong crowd, as will a group from theatre school Razzamataz.
There will also be circus tricks from Disturbia, aka ex-carnival queen Chelsea Hunt, and still more to be confirmed.
Refreshments include a hog roast and fish and chips, plus there will be other activities. Tickets, at £3 each, went on sale at the The Fabric Store, in The Arcade, Littlehampton, on Friday.
