MADE In Britain: The Six-Five Special Edition celebrates the greatness of Britain's music during the 50s and 60s, with pioneer pop star Craig Douglas leading a cast of tribute artists who specialise in the era.
Craig Douglas, known to many as "the singing milkman", launched his career on the BBC's first rock n roll show, Six-Five Special, where he appeared in the same line-up as Cliff Richard and Joe Brown.

His British number one hit Only Sixteen outso
ld Sam Cooke's original version in the UK and it will be a highlight of his performance on the show, amid his other most-loved numbers such as One Hundred Pounds of Clay, Teenager In Love, Pretty Blue Eyes and When My Little Girl Is Smiling.

Made in Britain will also feature the hits of Cliff Richard and Billy Fury backed by respected 60s band The Rapiers, who played alongside Cliff Richard, Jet Harris and Johnny Leyton, and have released several albums in their own right.

Steve Halliday, who played Eddie Cochran in the stage show Rockin On Heavens Door, plus young Elvis in Elvis In Concert, will play Cliff Richard.

He has played alongside performers such as Scotty Moore and DJ Fontana since his appearance on ITV's Stars in Their Eyes and has also penned a number of songs for Shakin' Stevens.

Steve will be joined by Michael King who was called 'the best Fury since Fury' after playing Billy Fury on the 2008 Buddy Holly 50th Anniversary Tour.

He also played rock 'n' roll singer Ricky Corvette in the stage show In Dreams, Elvis in The Power of Presley and won a Las Vegas Icon Award for his performances with Elvis's own backing group The Jordanaires.

Combining three great acts with one of Britain's earliest pop stars ensures an evening of British celebration with a soundtrack filled with the most recognisable songs of the decade.
