SHOPPERS in Horsham town centre are being warned by police to be on the lookout for purse thieves.

PC Terry Price said: "Over the last few months, there have been a few reports of handbags and purses being stolen in the town.

"Police would like to remind the shoppers to be vigilant, and keep their handbags and purses safe, and make sure their handbags are zipped up and kept with them at all times when shopping."
