CHILDREN from Southwater Junior School buried a time capsule in the foundations of a new retirement housing development in the village.
The Gardener and Fletcher development, in College Road, is being built on a site formerly occupied by bedsits, which were owned by the housing association Saxon Weald, a registered charity and the developer of the new flats. They will offer people over 60-years-old homes in a supported environment.

The time capsule contained pictures and letters of what life is like in Southwater today.
