Southwater man misses out on Chelsea game

MORE than 200 Chelsea fans missed the Champion's League final after their flight to Moscow was cancelled, including one Southwater man.
Paul Stables was devastated by the news.
In total, 224 Chelsea supporters were due to have taken a special charter flight from Gatwick just before 6am this morning.
But an airport spokesman said a technical problem caused the cancellation.
Manchester United beat Chelsea in a nail-biting final that went to penalties.
Mr Stables commented: "I was one of the Chelsea 300 stranded at Gatwick....and I agree it was shambolic.
The game of a lifetime and a ticket in your pocket only to be completely let down by a series of unfortunate events."
