Man hurt in welding accident

A MAN was treated for minor burns after a small fire broke out in his garage in Pulborough yesterday (Wednesday November 19).
The man was welding and sparks ignited items in his garage in Coombelands Lane.
Fire crews were called just before 12.30pm but the man had managed to put the flames out by the time they arrived.
Crews from Billingshurst and Storrington were sent and gave the man first aid before the arrival of paramedics.
