A MULTI agency task force was in Horsham yesterday (Tuesday November 18) to stop drivers committing vehicle related offences.
Sussex Police, the DVLA and VOSA teamed up at Warnham Nature Reserve, in Warnham Road.

During the day they found one vehicle with brakes so defective it had to be taken off the road immediately.

They also discovered drivers with no insurance, MOT or tax, as well as some people driving while using a mobile phone.

Another vehicle had been customised in such an amateurish way, its owner could not see out of the front window properly.

For comprehensive coverage of all the stories making the local news, read Friday's edition of the West Sussex County Times newspaper. Visitors to www.wscountytimes.co.uk who wish to purchase a copy of the County Times newspaper but live outside our circulation area can do so by telephoning 01403 751200 and asking for reception. The cost of the newspaper plus postage in England is £1.53 which can be paid for by credit card. Overseas rates are also available, on request.
