HORSHAM charity Born Free is looking for runners to represent them in the Great North Run and the Great South Run.
Mandy Ford, 59, PA to chief executive officer Will Travers, is setting an example by taking on both challenges.
Mandy, who has worked for the Foundry Lane based wildlife charity for ten years, did the Great South Run in 2007, and plans to do the double this year.
"I'm running three times per week," she said.
"Hopefully I'll be up to ten miles at least, before the Great North Run."
The North Run, in Newcastle on October 5, covers a hilly 13 mile route.
Mandy will have three weeks to recover and get ready for the South Run in Southsea, Portsmouth, which is ten miles and fairly flat.
