CAN I, through your paper, thank the kind lady who gave me £10 for the Poppy Appeal, as she said she hadn't seen anybody selling them.
I told her I was selling poppies for Angmering Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal and gave her mine as we queued in the check-out at Marks and Spencer in Worthing.

Thank-you so much.

Joan Hinves,
Lime Grove,
The Dell,
Angmering
