I AM appealing to the very kind man who helped my son and by so doing, avoided what could have turned into a tragedy.
I have only recently found out that on Sunday, July 27, at around 1.30pm, the man (whom I presume lives locally) observed my son on the platform of a railway station in your newspaper's area.

As my son has profound learning difficulties, the man
immediately alerted the authorities, but I have been unable to obtain his contact details to thank him for doing this.

If you are that person, or you know who this person might be, then please do get in touch with me via this newspaper.

Many thanks.
