I WOULD just like to say how amazing Carnival Day was on Saturday.
As Carnival Queen for the previous two years, I had no idea just how much work was really involved until I joined the carnival committee this year.
It felt just right to join, seeing as they've been like a family to me for the past two years and a
fter my reign I couldn't possibly leave them.
It is only now I realise what a strong family of hard-working people they are, committed to all of the organising and fund-raising events throughout the year, making sure it's full of fun and enjoyment for all.
I would like to thank the public for the amazing turnout and for all of the money donated, which is very much appreciated.
And I would like to thank the Romsey Old Cadets, whom I was with on the carnival route, for being cheeky and thoroughly entertaining.
Last, but no means least, I would like to thank the entire carnival committee, who worked solidly through the entire day, and for making me the person I am today.
I love every one of you, thank you and roll on next year!
