I AM writing to voice my disgust at the charges made for the rides at Harbour Park.
At the weekend I took my grandchildren, ages three and eight, to the park. Most of the rides were between three and four tokens and the most popular ride for the very young children is now four tokens.
The ride only lasts a very short time, and I
am angry that parents are expected to pay £2 for a ride that lasts less than three minutes.
All small children when they see the colourful rides expect to go on and have a good time. However, how can parents be expected to pay out such large amounts for such poor results?
I have used this particular ride many times over the years with all my grandchildren, but will have to keep away from now on as I feel the public are being very poorly treated.
My older grandson went on the bouncy castle and the trampolines and both were of a very short duration. The staff in charge were not prepared to allow any further time on either piece of equipment.
What happened to value for money?
