Big investment by Mr Haskin during an economic down turn, employing a lot of local people and providing a lovely facility, so thank you Mr H.  Coffee by Costa so we know the quality and the price but it is the wait and the queue that can wear you down.  Various counters for different food types provide a variety for customers.  Staff are helpful, seats comfortable and good internet wi-fi if you want to spend a couple of hours over morning coffee.  Plants on sale outside still need a bit of sorting but there is plenty to see both in and out.  Car parking good but getting back onto the road can be a bit time consuming at busy times.  Good place for ladies to lunch.

This place has just had a MAJOR refurb…..some 12m allegedly. Yes, it looks very nice but it is huge!! Situated on the A259, which, is not designed to take the extra traffic ie turning into the garden centre. Worst still, is when you’ve got in there and want to exit……you can’t!!! Eastbound traffic does/will not give way, consequently garden centre traffic builds up and you can wait a very long time. It is much more than a garden centre as it stocks everything else, and at exhorbitant prices. If its plants you want ….go to Ferring Nurseries, cheaper and quicker.
