THOSE who are hoping that a change of government will put an end to the prospects of a new settlement at Ford, will be downhearted to learn of the commitments David Cameron has made to both the environmental and the economic agenda, and, by implication, to social issues, too.
This is in stark contrast with the knee-jerk political opportunism shown by Nick Herbert and Nick Gibb towards the prospect of an Eco-Town on a dis-used airfield.

David Cameron asks, "Where's the ambition ? Where's the vision ? Where's the l
eadership ? "

Here, in Arun, David!

Four years ago, the Downland Area Committee sent the Ford Enterprise Hub concept to local authorities and he will recognise our objectives then as being close to his, now.

I reckon he owes us a visit and a quiet word in the ear for our NIMBY MPs ?
