Lifeboat crews to visit Littlehampton town centre for SOS day

A LIFE-SAVING speedboat, used by the RNLI, will be on display in Littlehampton town centre, on Saturday (January 28).

The Spirit of Juniper – which is regularly deployed during tricky sea rescues – will be in the High Street, for most of the day, alongside some of her crew from the lifeboat station, based in the town.

The special, public exhibition is all part of the charity’s SOS day.

The station, in Fisherman’s Quay, will also be open to the public during the event, with crews on hand to tell visitors more about the vital work they do, on a daily basis.

For more details about the day, call 01903 715351.
