A PARANORMAL activity group from Bognor Regis is appealing to anyone who thinks they may have unusual activity in their home to get in touch in the build-up to Halloween.
The group, which is called Paranormal 1968, is looking to investigate buildings in the town which people think may be haunted.
Group member Jocelyn Farmer first became interested 16 years ago when she lived in a property in Hawthorn Road which ha
d some unusual things going on inside.
She said: "We got into this about 16 years ago when we rented a house in Hawthorn Road. A lot of stuff happened that we could not explain – windows were opening and closing when they had not been touched, so we moved out."
It was not just the unexplained opening and closing of windows which forced them out but bad smells, floating figures, doors being unlocked, things being moved around and much more.
Mrs Farmer added: "It is something we came into because we saw it advertised in the Observer. We go into places to find out the history of them and what they are experiencing. We spend an evening there.
"We are certainly not going to think people are strange if they call us because we have heard it all. People might think we are mad, but we are quite normal.
"We have had some fascinating photographs and sound recordings. We have done a lot of investigating, like most of the pubs in the area."
