New parish clerk in Aldwick

A new clerk is set to join Aldwick Parish Council.
Susan Batey will take over from the outgoing Ron Palmer on Wednesday. Mr Palmer has moved out of the area after several years at the council.

One of Mrs Batey's first roles could be taking phone calls from potential councillors. A vacancy exists o
n the council, chaired by Cllr Carol Wiseman.

Anyone interested in joining should ring her on 01243 263330 or come to the next council meeting at the parish offices, 88 Pryors Lane, Aldwick, at 6.30pm on September 15.
