KIDS at Pound Hill Junior School helped smash a world record when they joined in with the Big Sing.
They joined over 400 000 other children across the country to hit the high notes last Thursday (November 27) and join in with singer Des'ree who led the massive sing-a-long from the O2 Arena in London with a performance of her hit 'You Gotta Be'.

She was supported onstage by pop band The Kixx, child violinist In-Cha and classical artist Summer Watson.

The school choir travelled up to London to perform alongside her, while the rest of the school gathered in the hall to give them a vocal boost via video link.

The kids smashed the previous 2005 Guinness World Record for the biggest simultaneous sing-a-long and managed to raise funds Marie Curie Cancer Care, CLIC Sargent and Youth Music as well.
