A PLAYFUL pooch
skewered her owner on a
table leg after pushing her out of an upstairs window – but now 10 years on they're
still the best of friends.
Lucky mum-of-one Kerri Edwards, 20, of Buchan Lawn, Broadfield, was having a pow wow with neighbours from her bedroom window when lively pup Sheba jumped up behind her and sent her plummeting 15ft where she was impaled on an upturned table leg.
And although the metal leg plunged through her stomach and out her back – narrowly missing her kidneys and her lungs – Kerri reckons her only thought was whether she'd be allowed to keep her treasured pooch.
Ten years after the event Kerri and her mum Sophie spoke to us about that traumatic day.
