Refuse blaze destroys garden

A BLAZE broke out in a large pile of rubbish last night in Bewbush.
Fire crews were called to attend the scene behind Mitford Walk, Bewbush around 12.29am and three appliances went out to tackle the flames.

A West Sussex Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "It was quite a large rubbish fire at the back of Mitford Walk.

"Three appliances went to that because there was quite a lot of rubbish on fire."

The extent of the damage is not yet known.
