KIDS in Bewbush will get a brand new park as part of the neighbourhood redevelopment.

The planning permission for the site next to Bewbush primary school went through in May.

The park will include two multi-use games areas, a junior play area and
an extreme sports area.

Play equipment was chosen by more than 300 parents and children at Waterfield and Bewbush primary schools who tested out equipment for the new park earlier in the year.

The area next to the new school will also be re-landscaped with new footpaths, fencing, flood lighting and earth mounding.

A spokesman for Crawley Borough Council said: "Now that the site has been marked out work will start on the games areas and this will be followed by the new play equipment and a parkour training area.

"We are hoping that the project will be completed and open to the public by November this year."
