Fire crews called to A23 smash

FIRE CREWS were called to a smash on the A23 after a car collided with the central reservation.
The incident happened at 9:40am on Thursday (July 2) on the A23 northbound between Handcross and Pease Pottage.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to a small accident on the A23.

"One car had crashed into the central reservation."
